Accelerating Change and Transitions™ (ACT)
This session is for individuals and leaders who wish to learn the how of managing change for organizational initiatives and projects. We cover both the concepts and change management tools though the use of Destra’s proprietary Accelerating Change and Transitions™(ACT) model, which includes elements such as creating a sense of urgency, defining your elevator speech, identifying and engaging key stakeholders, and creating a roadmap for change. The material is covered in a highly experiential manner, so there are multiple opportunities to practice new skills.
ACT Application
This session is for intact project and work teams who wish to apply the principles of managing change to their organizational initiative or project. We facilitate you in the use of both the concepts and change management tools though the use of Destra’s proprietary Accelerating Change and Transitions™(ACT) model. The team leaves the workshop with a plan for creating change acceptance for your project, including a sense of urgency, an elevator speech, having identified your key stakeholders, and a 30-60 day action plan.
ACT Executive Overview: Change Management
This half to one-day workshop provides an overview of Destra’s proprietary Accelerating Change and Transitions™ (ACT) methodology. The session covers an overview of the critical need for a change management process to ensure the effectiveness of any organizational initiative. We also cover the tools and processes for accelerated and sustained adoption of change initiatives, with a specific focus on Leading the Way – the essential leadership tasks and behaviors necessary to drive change.
ACT/FSL
This 4.5 day course covers the elements and “playbook” of tools and processes for effective group facilitation and problem solving, plus how to accelerate and ensure sustained adoption of change initiatives. The session begins with essential Facilitation Skills that provide the foundation for team and project leaders, or anyone who needs to do work with and through others. In the second half of the course participants will learn Destra’s proprietary Accelerating Change and Transitions™ (ACT) methodology. We cover concepts and tools such as creating a sense of urgency, identifying and engaging key stakeholders, and creating a roadmap for change. The material is covered in a highly experiential manner with multiple opportunities to practice new skills.

In this one-day session, participants become fictional members of a life insurance company seeking to dramatically improve its efficiency and customer satisfaction. Participants learn the essentials of both how process improvement works, including the need to involve the people closest to an issue on any improvement effort, and the what of lean six sigma concepts and tools.
